FOOD PANTRY


Thank you for your interest in volunteering at St. Peter’s Haven!

Volunteering Days:     Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday

Volunteering Hours: 8:00 am - 12:00 pm

Additionally, on the 2nd Friday and 4th Monday of every month, we receive our monthly allotment of food from the Community Foodbank of New Jersey, our major provider of food for our pantry. On these days, we always need assistance to help unload the shipment, re-stock shelves, and organize inventory.

Shipment Days are the 2nd Friday and 4th Monday of every month from 8am-12pm


It is highly important that we track all participants who choose to volunteer at SPH Food Pantry prior to beginning their service. Volunteers need to create a Charity Quest account.

Groups of more than 10 people must contact the Pantry Manager, Gustavo Orales (gustavo@saintpetershaven.org) before signing up.

  • Select Volunteer under Join as an Individual

  • Complete Required Information

  • Verify your email address (NOTE: Please be sure to verify your email address by clicking the link sent to you during the registration process)

  • Select Charities

  • Find St. Peter’s Haven under Passaic County, The City of Clifton

  • Scroll through available quests and sign up for the date you would like to volunteer


Additional Information:

NOTE: Participants ages 8-15 must have a parent/guardian complete this form with you. They will need to sign off on your behalf so they are aware of the procedures and stipulations that must be upheld in the pantry at all times. 

Here are some  quick tips to help you prepare for your first day here!

  1. Wear closed toes shoes and comfortable clothing.

  2. Check-in when you arrive and check-out when you leave. (this can be done on the Charity Quest app if you download it to your phone or upon arrival at the volunteer check-in counter).

  3. After checking in. please seek instructions from a staff member for placement.

  4. Unfortunately we have a small parking lot, please find parking on the street nearby, or park at the municipal parking lot located at ( 93 1st Street, Clifton NJ 07011 ). (24 hour parking limit for white lines, and 2 hours limit for yellow lines)
